    🍽 Kitchen Equipment

This cheese tea recipe is so easy and does not require any fancy equipment!

    • Mixing bowl: you will need a large mixing bowl to whip up the cream cheese. I recommend using a stainless steel mixing bowl that you chill before whipping up the whipped cream for best results.
    • Electric Hand Mixer: For the quickest method, I recommend using an electric hand mixer to whip up the heavy cream. However, you can always use a regular hand whisk and a whole lot of muscle as well.

    🛒 Ingredients

This cheese foam recipe only requires 5 pantry staple ingredients that you can find at your local grocery store.

    • Cream Cheese: make sure to use full-fat brick cream cheese for the best flavor. I recommend using Philadelphia cream cheese.
    • Milk: thins out the cream cheese while adding an additional creaminess.
    • Granulated Sugar: sweetens the cream cheese.
    • Sea Salt: sea salt can be overpowering. You can add a little at a time to taste to adjust it to your taste preferences. I recommend using Himalayan salt for the best flavor.
    • Heavy Whipping Cream: you will need heavy whipping cream in order to make the cream cheese mixture foam up. Make sure the heavy whipping cream is cold before you begin whipping.

    ✨ Substitutions and Additions

    • Milk: you can substitute the milk for evaporated milk, or condensed milk for a creamier, thicker, and sweeter consistency.
    • Sugar: sugar is the main form of sweetener in this cheese foam recipe. You can substitute powdered sugar for granulated sugar or condensed milk.

⭐️ Tips for the Best Cheese Foam Boba

    • Thoroughly mix your room temperature cream cheese. Make sure to whip up your room temperature cream cheese with the other ingredients until it is smooth and has no more clumps. Having the cream cheese at room temperature allows you to mix the cream cheese with ease and fully incorporate the other ingredients.
    • Use cold heavy whipping cream. Using cold heavy whipping cream allows the whipped cream to foam up easily.
    • Don’t over-whip! Whip the heavy cream mixture on low to be able to closely monitor the texture of the cheese foam. You want the final texture to be thick, foamy, with medium-soft peaks. You know you have over-whipped the mixture if it starts to look like cottage cheese.

    🥡 Storage Instructions

This cheese foam boba is best served immediately. You can make this cheese foam recipe in advance and store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
