Comforting and warming Korean stew with ramen, select meats, veggies, and a savory umami broth. Ready in under 30 minutes, this dish is delicious and easily customizable!
In a medium mixing bowl mix together gochugaru, gochujang, soy sauce, fish sauce, rice wine, sugar, black pepper, minced garlic, and choice of stock stock.
A balance of sweet, spicy, and savory will yield the most flavorful stew. Classic toppings I highly recommend always including are spam, tofu, cabbage, ramen, and cheese.
In a large shallow pot or braiser, add in your toppings. Pour in your stock and add the seasoning sauce in the center. Cover and cook on medium high heat until the stock begins to boil.
Add the noodles, cheese, and green onions. Continue cooking uncovered for an additional 2-3 minutes or until the noodles soften.
Serve with rice and your favorite side dishes.
