EASY Mapo Tofu

This easy 30 minute classic mapo tofu recipe features silken tofu and ground pork cooked in an addicting spicy, savory Sichuan sauce.

These ingredients are super easy to find at your local Asian grocery store or large chain like Wholefoods.

Marinate the Pork

Season and marinate the ground pork with the ginger, soy sauce, and shaoxing wine.

Cook the Pork

Cook the pork with the sauteed garlic and doubanjiang.

Add Seasonings and Stock

Add the seasonings and chicken stock then bring to a boil

Thicken Sauce

Mix in the cornstarch slurry to thicken.

Add the Tofu

Add in the cubed silken tofu and gently combine until tofu is warm.

Finishing Touches

Finish with sesame oil and sliced green onions.
