Ingredients

short-grain white rice
2
tablespoons
black glutinous rice
2
cups
water
Instructions
Rinse the rice.
Add the white and black rice to the rice cooker and rinse 4 times with cold water until the water runs clear.
Drain and add water.
Drain the rice and add 2 cups of fresh water.
Soak.
Soak the rice in water for at least 30 minutes, up to 2 hours. If using a pressure cooker or pressure rice cooker, you can skip this step.
Cook.
Cook the rice on the white rice setting.
Serve.
Once the rice cooker finishes, let the purple rice sit for an additional 5 minutes, then stir with a rice paddle and enjoy!
