30 min Crispy Salt and Pepper Tofu

This classic Chinese dish features golden fried tofu, sweet peppers and onions in a salt and pepper seasoning blend.

These ingredients are all easy to find at a local grocery store.

📝 Ingredients

Cube the Firm Tofu


Cut the firm tofu into bite size cubes.

Mix the Seasoning


Combine the seasoning in a small glass bowl and set aside.

Cook the Tofu


Boil the tofu then drain and pat dry.

Dredge the Tofu


Coat the tofu in egg then the cornstarch mixture

Fry the Tofu


Fry the tofu until golden brown then set on a drying rack.

Stir fry the Tofu


Stir fry the peppers and onions, then toss in the tofu and seasoning
