These cookies are made with pantry staples with the addition of gochujang that's readily available at large chain grocers.

Combine the gochujang, brown sugar, and butter until blended into the caramel paste.

Combine and whisk together the dry ingredients, then set aside.

Beat until light and fluffy to aerate butter.

Mix in the butter and vanilla.

Slowly add in flour mixture then chill dough.

Add large dollops of the gochujang paste on top of the chilled cookie dough.

Gently swirl in paste. *Don't mix in completely.*

Scoop and place dough at least 2 inches apart before baking.
