Freeze the avocados. Slice the avocado and spread them out on a plastic wrap lined baking sheet. Cover and freeze for at least one hour or overnight.
Blend. Add the frozen avocado, condensed milk, milk, and ice in a blender and blend until the consistency is smooth and thick. You can adjust the sweetness by adding more condensed milk or thin out the smoothie by adding more milk.
Serve. Pour the avocado smoothie into a glass and enjoy!
Notes
Use a knife to remove the pit. The easiest way to remove an avocado pit is to carefully wedge the knife inside the pit, twist the knife and pull the pit out.
Freeze the avocado. Freezing the avocado will give the smoothie an added thickness without adding more liquid. It is similar to the effect of freezing fruit for regular smoothies.
This recipe uses small Haas avocados. If you have a large Haas avocado, use 1 large avocado instead of 2 small avocados.
Adjust the condensed milk based on your sweetness preference. This Vietnamese avocado smoothie is made with my preference of sweetness for drinks. If you like a less sweet drink, opt for less condensed milk or add more for a sweeter and creamier finish.
