Delicious 20 Minute Chicken Lo Mein

This juicy tender chicken, springy lo mein noodles, vegetables and a rich and savory sauce can be your perfect weeknight dinner  in under 20 minutes.

For the simplest yet delicious stir fry I recommend carrots, cabbage, and onions as the stir fry vegetables.

📝 Lo Mein Base

The sauce and chicken marinade ingredients are Chinese pantry staples, easily found at your local asian market.

📝 Sauce & Marinade

Marinate the Chicken


Marinate for at least 15 minutes.

Make the Sauce


Mix together the sauce in a small bowl and set aside.

Cook the Noodles


Follow the packaging instructions for cooking the noodles.

Cook the Chicken


In a large wok, cook the chicken then remove and set aside.

Cook the Aromatics


Saute the onions and garlic until browned and fragrant.

Add the Vegetables


Add the cabbage and carrots then toss and cook until wilted.

Add the Noodles, Chicken, and Sauce.


Toss to combine. Then add the green onions until softened.
